Evangelist Army Ministries is an evangelistic movement birthed out of high school prayer in 2023 and introduced in 2024 under the leadership of Brilliant Mlangeni, Uluthando Ngwenya, and Liyanda Mazibuko. Faithfully rooted in our local churches, we carry one divine mandate: to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, heal wounded souls, feed the poor, and win souls across Mpumalanga and the nations.

The Founding Story

Birthed in prayer. Ignited for souls.

Evangelist Army Ministries was introduced in 2024 under the leadership of founder Brilliant Mlangeni alongside co-founders Uluthando Ngwenya and Liyanda Mazibuko. But the fire was first kindled in 2023 through the counsel of God and intercession across different high schools.

The Evangelist Army started while Brilliant Mlangeni, Liyanda Mazibuko, and Uluthando Ngwenya were still students studying across different high schools. Instead of conforming to youth trends, they were gripped by eternity. They gathered regularly in prevailing prayer, earnestly seeking the counsel of God until the Holy Spirit solidified the vision to officially launch the movement in 2024.

Evangelist Army was never born in rebellion or disconnection from spiritual authority. The founders served faithfully in their local churches before Evangelist Army was formed. Up to this day, all three founders remain devoted, active servants within their local congregations while mobilizing workers into the wider harvest field.

Milestone Breakthrough

The 2024 First Service.

In 2024, the movement held its first landmark service: a glorious Night Prayer hosted in collaboration with The Gospel of Christ Outreach Ministries (TGOCOM).

That night of prayer became a divine catalyst — opening wide doors for Evangelist Army to partner with churches across towns and cities to preach Jesus Christ without compromise.

Official Launch & TGOCOM Night Prayer

Evangelist Army Ministries is officially introduced. The first landmark service is a Night Prayer in collaboration with The Gospel of Christ Outreach Ministries (TGOCOM).

Expanding rapidly through Machadodorp, Belfast, Emgwenya, Middelburg, and Dennilton, winning souls and collaborating with local churches.

Founder & Lead Evangelist

BrilliantMlangeni

Founder of Evangelist Army Ministries. In 2023, while still attending high school, God spoke directly to Brilliant to birth an evangelistic movement dedicated to winning souls for the Kingdom of God, healing wounded souls, and feeding the poor. Together with co-founders Liyanda Mazibuko and Uluthando Ngwenya, he spent dedicated hours in prevailing prayer seeking the counsel of God before officially introducing the movement in 2024. Brilliant has served faithfully in his local church prior to the formation of the ministry and continues to serve in his local church while leading the Evangelist Army across Mpumalanga and beyond.

Co-Founder of Evangelist Army Ministries. Standing alongside Brilliant and Liyanda during their high school years across different institutions, Uluthando entered into deep, persistent prayer seeking the counsel of God before the movement was birthed. A passionate evangelist dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and restoring broken lives to God, Uluthando continues to serve faithfully in her local church while helping shepherd and direct the ministry into new mission fields.

LiyandaMazibuko

Co-Founder of Evangelist Army Ministries. Partnering in the heavenly vision revealed in 2023, Liyanda joined Brilliant and Uluthando in fervent prayer while in high school, laying the spiritual foundation for what was launched in 2024. Deeply committed to the Great Commission and faithful to local church ministry, Liyanda works tirelessly to coordinate street campaigns, church collaborations, and prayer gatherings across towns and provinces.
